Sustainable development

For many years, the organizing committee has paid particular attention to environmental issues and strived to minimize the impact of our activities on the environment. Until recently, however, this approach remained informal, without a clearly defined structure.

At the beginning of 2020, a working group specifically dedicated to sustainable development was created. To support this initiative, we carefully followed the methodology proposed on the “Manifestation Verte website, in collaboration with Swiss Olympic and the Swiss Confederation. This tool enabled us to measure, evaluate, and improve all aspects related to the environmental impact of our event in a structured manner.

Under the coordination of the working group dedicated to sustainable development, the organizing committee has decided to tackle the issue of waste management and sorting for the 2024 edition.

The “Cap vers le zéro déchet” report details this approach, as well as the commitments made to guide our future actions in a sustainable manner.
