The Charter

The Charter

Our sport is not only characterised by its rules, but even more importantly, by the values it conveys on and off the sport field. A game is beautiful to watch when two teams on the field, together, play at the highest level of their ability and so produce spectacular action. At the end of the game, hopefully, the team wins, which has the better capabilities. The sentiment with the other team should however not be defeat and discouragement, but the acknowledgement that the winning team was stronger on that day, combined with the will to train even harder to next time be the stronger team on the field.

The Tchoukball Charter, written by Dr. Hermann Brandt and Michel Favre, is the central document summarising the values of our sport.
