Brandt Arena

Creation

The main field of the Tchoukball Geneva Indoors, the Brandt Arena, pays tribute to the creator of tchoukball, Doctor Hermann Brandt. This pitch was built for the first time during the 2018 Nations Cup, one year after the main competition moved to the Queue d’Arve sports center. Since then, the field has been built on the hockey rink every year.

The idea was to create a completely new field that could accommodate hundreds of spectators.

Infrastructure

Every year, dozens of hours of work are invested to make this field unique. All the walls must be covered with black fabrics. The flags of the participating countries are added above the stands, which also require a lot of work, especially in the display of sponsors.

A huge TV tour is set up each year to offer high quality images. The pitch is also offered a special floor, improving the comfort on the pitch.
