TGI 2024 : ON THE ROAD TO “ZERO WASTE”

Faced with the climate emergency and the impetus given by the State and City of Geneva to encourage action, we felt it necessary to move forward in the direction of eco-responsibility and the sustainability of our sporting event.

This is why the 2024 edition of the TGI marks a turning point. A TURNING POINT WITH YOU! We want to organize and run a more responsible event, while adopting exemplary behavior and operations.

We have therefore drawn up a strategy for 2024-2025-2026, incorporating the key principles of the “zero waste” approach: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Compost, Recycle.

A strategy based on 3 fundamental principles:

• The best waste is that which is not produced: Minimize the use of products that will become waste.
• Measures to encourage the public to sort waste
• Verification to ensure quality sorting
