Expected women’s teams qualify for the Nations Cup semi-finales

This Thursday and today, Friday, the qualifying matches took place in quick succession. All 7 participating teams met once, in a 2x 15-minute match. Many of the matches had very, very close results, which made the competition attractive for the many spectators who came to support the teams. And for the players, every emotion – joy, disappointment and pride – was on display.

Singapore, for its first participation, showed some fine play and qualified for the semi-finals, along with last year’s finalists Switzerland and Italy, as well as the young team from Germany DDT.

At the end of the day’s qualifiers, the standings were as follows:

1. Italy
2. Switzerland
3. Singapore
4. Germany DDT
5. Switzerland M21
6. Germany DTBV
7. Italy M21

The women’s semi-finals take place tomorrow, Saturday, and are made up of the following pairs:

12:30 pm: Italy vs Germany DDT
1.40 pm:   Switzerland vs Singapore
