Record participation
Registration closed on 30th September 2025, and we are delighted to announce that a record number of nations will be taking part.
A brand new format:
To make the Nations Cup even more attractive for participants and spectators alike, we have decided to adopt a new competition format.
The objectives:
To guarantee each team the same number of matches.
To offer intense matches right from the start of the tournament.
No more group stages, make way for a new format!
Now there will be a single ranking. Teams will be divided into two pots based on their TGI ranking (calculated on the results of the last three seasons). Nations participating for the first time will automatically be placed in pot 2.
Each team will play four qualifying matches, in principle:
- 2 against opponents from pot 1
- 2 against opponents from pot 2
At the end of this phase, the four best teams will advance to the semi-finals. The other nations will continue the competition through two classification matches.
We are confident that this new tournament format will make for a more exciting tournament with more spectacular matches, right from the very first games!
Join us on 13th October 2025 at 7 p.m. to watch the draw live!
