In the women's category, Switzerland claims the European champion title, beating Italy 51-43 in the final on Saturday, August 8 in Macolin.
In the men's category, Italy triumphed with a flawless run. The Italian team won the European Championship by beating Switzerland in the final (70-59). Spain rounds out the podium.
Special mention to Switzerland, who won all 4 crowns up for grabs across the various junior competitions (M15 and M18, men and women).
We also salute Poland's fine run in the junior categories: a silver medal in the boys' M15 category, followed by a beautiful bronze medal in the girls' M15 category after a nail-biting final against Switzerland (a one-point loss, 48-47).
