With 62 teams taking part on Sunday 14 December, the next generation of tchoukball players showed that they are well on their way. From early in the morning, the young players took to the 15 pitches spread across the three sports centres.
The day was filled with a range of emotions: joy, pride, disappointment and the satisfaction of having played well. And the next generation clearly demonstrated that the standard of play in our sport is only getting better.
In the afternoon, the classification matches and finals were played at the Queue d’Arve sports centre. To the applause of a large crowd, the top teams battled it out in thrilling finals at the Brandt Arena.
The podium finishers for Sunday’s competitions are :
U14: GT College (HK), Eaux Vives (CH), España U14 (ES)
U16: Geneva Dragons U16 (CH), Singapore Boys (SG) and GT College (HK)
U18: Geneva Dragons U18 (CH), GT College (HK) and Team Neuch (CH)
