In the men’s category, we witnessed a final between Italy (who beat the United Kingdom 75–34) and Singapore (who beat Switzerland 68–63). The two favourites in this competition faced off in an epic final featuring a succession of fantastic shots and defensive plays. At the end of this intense match, Italy managed to edge out Singapore and win 70-61.
In the women’s category, the final pitted Italy – who had beaten Singapore 50–43 – against Switzerland, who had defeated Germany 58–21. The two clear favourites of the competition thus met for a highly intense final showdown, marked by a succession of top-class attacking and defensive plays. At the end of this particularly hard-fought match, Italy managed to gain the upper hand over Switzerland and secure victory with a score of 46–42.
In the Next Generation Boys category, we witnessed a final between the Singapore team (who beat Italy 62–56) and the Swiss U18 team (who beat the Swiss U21 team 58–47). It was at the end of a thrilling match that Singapore emerged victorious against the Swiss U18s with a score of 57–46.
In the Next Generation Girls category, we saw a final between the Swiss team (who beat Italy U18 57-24) and the Singapore team (who beat Italy U21 46-28). It was at the end of a thrilling match that Switzerland beat Singapore 54-47.
