1st day of the Tchoukball Geneva Indoors – the M8, M10 and M12 opened the competitions

Today took place the first tournament day of the Tchoukball Geneva Indoors. The juniors of the category M8, M10 and M12 invested the Queue d’Arve sports centre to play many matches and experience fantastic meetings.

At 10 am, 24 teams of the category M12 started the tournament on the 8 fields dedicated to them. Soon the teams in the categories M10 and M8 joined them. Many matchs were closely disputed and finished with tight results.

The afternoon was dedicated to the ranking games. Infront of many parents, which had come to support their children, the players played their very best.

The finals of the tournament M10 and M12 were played in the Brandt Arena. The tension was high, but the pleasure to play in front such a big crowed was even bigger!

The M10 final was won by the team of Vollandes, who managed to finish in front of Chancy Dark 11 vs 9.

The M12 tournament saw the final for the 3^rd place and the final played in the Brandt Arena. The 3rd place final was 100% locale, with two teams of the Tchoukball Club Genève playing for this the cup. In the end it was the experience of Trembley which took over – the team won against the team of Pâquis.

The final was played by Chancy and the team, who had travelled the furthest, the team from ABCC of La Reunion! Under a very enthusiastic public, motivated to support the two teams. In the end it was La Reunion who won the Cup.

The day ended with a beautiful closing ceremony, where all children received their team photo as a souvenir.
